Difficult conversations come up, and it is natural for you to come face-to-face with challenging personalities in all kinds of relationships.
When these situations inevitably arise in your life, it is easy to feel ungrounded, powerless, and out of touch with your deepest Truth.
Here is an affirmation from Acharya Shunya’s book, Roar Like a Goddess, that can prepare and support you in those moments.
Begin your practice:
Sit with a hand on your heart, or in a mudra, or simply open on your lap.
Bring awareness to your breath and allow the body to relax.
Read these words:
May my speech be established in my mind.
May my mind be established in my heart.
May my heart be established in my Soul/Self.
May my Soul be established in Goddess Saraswati.
Notice the subtle shift that happens when you link your speech, thoughts, emotions, and Self to a divine source. What new insights emerge from within you? What fears or limitations are released when you anchor your being in this way?
